Kev what are you looking for. Is it drive and survive or is it a package deal where you just take your gear and have all the work done for you.

Drive and survive, but if its a good package we will go for that! just looking for a well stocked carp lake, looked at a few sites but nothing is shouting out at us yet.

how does a tonne of carp and sturgeon sound between four in a week. things are basic. 101 toilet and stand pipe on site with a two minute drive to the shower block on the other site. we pay £90 each for fishing and then sort out car and trailor between us as a foursome, however i suspect it wouldbe cheaper to take 2 cars. the place we go is about 4 hours from Calais, and consists of a couple of lakes but the lake i would recomend is not the popular one as it accomodates too many anglers and it is no more productive than the one we fish which is supposed to be harder.
The reality is it is easy to fish and the chances are that you wopuld end up with the lake to yourselves which would be an acre each but the swims allow you to fich close enough to socialise between runs and fish in pairs at least.

Hi mate the lake is callieux i believe and consists of two lakes. one is autelle and the other authon. You might be best to talk to holy joe when he returns from holiday as he has jack's number or sebastian and the might give you some literature but it is a good lake.
