Manor Farm Reservoirs

The two reservoirs at Manor Farm in Great Baddow are currently under the control of KDAA. Due to financial issues KDAA is not renewing the lease on these waters. Due to the close relationship KDAA and CAPS seem to have will CAPS be taking over at Manor Farm?

We are aware of Kelvedon releasing these waters. The subject was mentioned, but not persued.

Can I ask why they were not persued?

If remember correctly, I think it was only a short lease and the owner was going to remove most of the fish. As I said, we didn't really go too far with it.

And on top of what Tom has mentioned, the landowner "Ramped" up the annual rental so KDAA told him to stick it......

Who is the land owner, the actual Farm or Lafarge the aggregate company that work in the area?

No idea. Not much of a reply I know, but I just had to knotch up my 600th post.

Fair play, 600 not out, pity we couldn't put those sort of figures together in India.

If anyone else out there has any information I would be delighted to hear from you. Due to my current family committments I don't get out as often as I would like and having two waters right on my doorstep could be the answer. I have been in touch with the KDAA and they have no idea what will happen to them, but I'm hoping they will give me the owners contact details so I can ask directly.

It would be a shame for them to fall by the way side.

Unfortunately I am sure someone, a syndicate no doubt, will come up with the money and then charge an arm and a leg for people to fish
