widey, i did enjoy it but as a male i can't do too many things at once.

in terms of under arm swings though i no longer do these. i have what is called the catapult cast. I drop the lead two thirds of the rod length and hold it firmly. i then pull it to get the rod tip bent right round, aim and then let go of the lead whilst taking care to note the position of the hook. i only needed one cock up before building that bit in. its great fun and i can easily cast/fire 50 yards this way. it is far better for getting under trees and and close to snags as it has a completely different trajectory. its not possible with a live bait though.
