charkney lakes white colne

charkney lakes white colne

Hi does anybody know who owns/runs charkney lakes at white colne, I know a club used to run it, looks a nice size lake :wink:

As you go out of white colne towards wakes colne on the right hand side before the car sales, dont know if you can see it in a car, but i get a great veiw in my petrol tanker, it set well back from the road. :)

I know where you mean. Two lakes down a drive, both syndicates. One is known as the Whittle, the other is run by a small syndicate called The Manor.

It hardly matters, but I'm sure the name is Chalkney, not Charkney

"Charkney" is the Suffolk pronunciation. :wink:
