Linear fisheries Oxford

Off to Linear fisheries on Monday for five nights and thinking about going on St Johns lake. Anyone been? If so what advice can you offer. :lol:
Catching is great, but so is just being there!

Have you looked on carpforum, they have lot's of threads on what lakes ect.

Just looked on carpforum and the place is going to be rammed this weekend. Lucky to be going for five nights so dont mind spending the day on Monday checking the place out. :wink:

can be depends on what water you want to fish ,thry have so many lakes now you might be lucky ,the only trouble will be getting swims together

I would try somewhere else maybe sandhurst, catch 22.
Somewhere were all the crowds wont be.

Hi. I did try linear fisheries and ended up on Manor farm lake. A lot of weed unfortunately, tried it for two days but no fish, was going to try another lake but several people from the other lakes came around asking how things were with us as they were either fishing in weed or simply not catching bue to they reckoned too much pressure in swims that were fishable.
I hate fishing in weed especially when it is almost to the waters surface, I simply hate trying to bully fish through it
