getting on layer!

hi all, was jus wondering what the easiest way to get on layer is? i heard from someone that you needed 2do 4 work parties, or you could pay a bit extra if you couldn't manage to do the work parties? does this still apply or am i too late? :cry: am willing to bribe :wink:
