Cattawade (Stour..?)

I was driving past manningtree today and I noticed the river looking really good, a friend of mine said he fished it once many years ago on a day ticket seems to thinks its called cattawade does anyone have some info on this stretch of river I thinks its the stour is it still day ticket or is it privately owned now..?

Any help would be great thanks

Hi Bryan.

The Lawford Angling Society run that stretch I think, with day tickets from the Garage / Workshop which is off to the right as you cross the river into Suffolk.

The short bit between the two bridges is noted for Winter roach, and the stretch upstream was always known for a good head of carp and bream.

I think the Garage would be your best starting point.
