The Winter of Discontent

Postby webmaster » Mon Jan 26, 2009 11:40 pm

Is it just me or does this seem like one of the longest miserable winters, It went bad in October and never improved and to make it worse we've still got weeks to go.

I can't wait for spring, lets hope it comes quickly.

Yes, but unfortunately it started early this year and just seems tohave been here for ages. Normally its mainly January and February but this year October, November and December joined in on the act.

Ive just been looking at the met office weather forcast
UK Outlook for Tuesday 10 Feb 2009 to Thursday 19 Feb 2009:
A good deal of dry weather seems likely for the first week of this period but it will still be cold generally with overnight frosts and perhaps some fog patches. Some wintry showers continuing, especially in northern areas and with a risk of some very windy conditions with heavy rain or snow over the far south at first on Tuesday and in the far northwest on Thursday. Through the week end and into the following week there is considerable doubt over developments. It looks likely to remain unsettled and cold. Some dry periods but also further showers or longer spells of rain and with a continuing risk of some snow in places, especially over the hills.

What a load of ambiguous bullshit !!!

At least the rain should be warmer then. :D
A worm on one end and a fool on the other. Probably in the rain, possibly inebriated and invariably fish-less.
