houchins night fishing

Postby dannyarris » Sat May 16, 2009 7:20 pm

I was just wondering- I had a walk over houchins and saw that i they are a really nice couple of lakes, and would like to night fish them.

One on the rules in the handbook states do not block any routes around the lake, but I cant help but think if I put a biuvvy up it will take the whole path up even though its quite small.

Any solutions/answers on this appreciated, cheers

hi dannyarris you sound much like me when i went to houchins, i find that if you fish centre or the back pit you are ok with your bivvy as you are out the way. we went there this weekend and there was 7 people fishing it so we went to to prestons. i have see people who have bivvyed up on the right hand side this then F*** it up for everyone else to pass :x .i tend to get to one of the corner pegs out the way , if all else fails i go else where.

i went for a walk round houchins the other night, one side of the front res was totally blocked by bivvy's - i had to walk all the way back round the other way to get back to the car park, was pretty annoying tbh!
