That's a weird rule!!!Image

Could try a bog standard coated hooklength about 2 1/2"" long and strip just a tiny bit before the hook. Try a non 'Choddy' type hook with a mega short hair.

Might try it myself!

i think dave means hydrolink with will do the job its a florocarbon inner with braid on the out side or get some korda stiff hybrid that steams and tends to stay the way its shaped

wont work, the rig needs to be stiff to hold the curve so the rig acts like a claw. cant think of a single coated braid with this quality.

I agree with jay on what he says. the only way you could do that i think is to use an long length of shink tubing, yet again i dont know how long that would work? and it will not be as stiff as mono.

Shrink tube works on the Withy pool rig ok which uses the same principle, alternately you could steam the Hydrolink into shape and coat with Hawser or rigamortis if you can find any as i,m not sure that Kryston make these now.
