Bov 1 and Layer for me at the moment! But I've gone for Layer as I haven't cracked it yet and its still a very frustrating place.

Is that the 1870's Dave?   .

Anyway, I would have to go for the rivers, it is much harder to catch from flowing water these days than it is from a lake, that's just my opinion, so no vote from me!!.

all waters have their moments ive fished bovvy 2 houchins and olivers and id say bovvy2 was the hardest of the 3 but that said houchins can get frustrating when the fish aint in the mood but carp fishing isnt like chucking out a float and dragging in perch all day long if it was we wouldnt do it
if a woman says "you love fishing more than me" .............. just AGREE!

Hard waters

Postby chris1@1red » Sat Feb 04, 2006 6:42 pm

I have not fished any of the two bovies, or layer. But of the waters I have fished I would have to say HOUCHINS.

I know snake pit isnt the easiest water anyway but i think it is hard mainly because not many people fish it enough to work out what works ect
