Website Access Problems

Postby webmaster » Thu Mar 02, 2006 9:13 pm

You may have experienced intermittent access problems with the site whilst maintenance work is carried out on the server. Sorry for the inconvenience but its not very often we have problems with our server.

Unfortunately during their earlier work they incorrectly set the date 24 hours ahead  , this has now been rectified but some of the posts made 2nd March were dated 3rd March

One of the side effects of this is that if you made a post 2nd March (but was dated 3rd) you cannot edit or make any further posts until after the same time on the 3rd March due to the flood prevention software used to stop spammers making numerous posts in quick succession.

Another quirk of this is that anyone who does reply to one of the forward dated posts prior to the time of the original post will have their post placed in front of the one dated the 3rd :? :? :?

Oh isnt it going to be fun on here for the next few hours. lol lol lol

Another quirk is that anyone who logged in yesterday but not logged out before the time was corrected is shown as still being online, hopefully it will sort itself out after 6.30 tomorrow evening.
