Fished the river Wid with my sons on Sunday, parked on the verge at the old A12 by the bridge as I have done for years, I started my fishing life there age 6.
"offspring from un-married parents" traffic warden gave me a £ 30.00 parking ticket. It's all sign posted no
ping on carriageway or verge. Me being a bit excited about going fishing with my boys didn't look at all, parked the car as usual and was off minnow bashing !!!!
Just thought I would like to warn fellow members - if you park on the verge your liable for a ticket. Sign says at any time.
Still, the boys smiles made up for it, and if I find the b'std that gave me the ticket I shall be using the roughest screw tip bankstick to point out his / her pettiness.
