first time

had a good day in peg 4 (double swim) fishing close to the trees 3 doubles biggest 17lb and 4 in the 6-8lb bracket one of the doubles did come to the method with pellet hook bait fished in open water the rest to boilie and pva sticks with a good spread of single baits and pellet fed regularly :D all in all enjoyed the day even tho the weather was a bit odd being close to the coast, started coool got nice and hot then coooled right down in the afternoon will take a fleece with me next time what ever the weather man says :lol:

Sounds like a good day Skippy, which pond were you fishing?

Presume its the Specimen lake on the right by the car park from your description.

Thats a nice swim especially if you want to share fish with a mate but be aware that your day could be spoilt if some inconsiderate pr@t decides to fish the corner swim next to you, as you will only be left with open water and the left hand margin.
Catching is great, but so is just being there!

yeah thought that my self but that corner swim is not marked down as a numbered peg the two man swim is peg 4 and peg three is next to the cabin and you can only fish from numbered pegs :lol:
been back twice for an afternoon session and a morning sess since and had 2 fish each time, both times low double / high single but all nice looking fish :D
