Parking for the Colne at Fordham is in a layby right next to the bridge on the Mill Road leading to Fordham.
To gain access via Cooks Mill lane drive down the lane, as you get to the bottom of the hill, there is a house on the left hand side, just before the property is a gate into a field. This entrance is owned by the landowner of our fishing, and, despite what the householder may say, you can park there. Having entered the field, you skirt the field boundary until you can cross a fence into the bankside field with the sign indicating the downstream limit of fishing.
